Ugh. One thing I can't stand is people who catch a cold, go to work, makes scenes to make sure people know that they are sick, yet talk about how they stayed out until 3 in the morning the night prior. I mean, do they not have any sense of responsibility? Working in Asia does mean going into work no matter what. Got mono? Poor you! A fever? Here, take a tylenol. The runs? Hee hee, you can go to the bathroom anytime you like. Being sick with a cold is plain awful and being expected to go to work is just horrible. But since that's they way the work culture is here, don't you owe it to yourself and your colleagues to not go out and booze it up (or at least, talk about it all morning)? Come on, people!
